Lead Time
The current lead time, which is the time taken to craft your special piece, is 1-2 weeks. This period does not include delivery time, which is 2-3 working days locally. All items are 100% handmade by a single leathercrafter and comes with a lifetime guarantee. This means we stand by our quality materials and techniques, any failures (no matter how unlikely) can be returned for free repair or replacement as long as you own it. Leather Used
Our products are made from high quality full grain leather. This means they only get better over time, developing a unique patina and providing a lifetime of service. The leathers used may be vegetable tanned (Veg Tan) or chrome tanned. Veg Tan refers to the method of processing the raw animal hides. It involves the use of natural tannins like tree bark to produce a superior quality material. This labour intensive method results in a leather with more body and character, one that ages really well. Click the button below to learn more about this age old technique. We also use Chrome Tanned leather. These are tanned using chromium salts, and results in a softer, more flexible material that's resistant to water and heat, making it suitable for a variety of applications. It's known for its durability and ease of maintenance. This tanning process is faster and more efficient than traditional vegetable tanning methods.

Meet the Crafter
Hi! My name is Arah Mannette, founder and leathercrafter at Tropical Leather Goods. I did a bachelor's degree in IT before I discovered leather crafting. I'm now dedicated to the craft and providing as much value as i can to you guys. I came across this art just by chance and was instantly obsessed with it. The skills and techniques I've learned is self taught, literally from watching YouTube videos, following other crafters on social media and hours of practice. I can happily say I've found my little corner of life, and grateful to have the best support anyone can ask for, my family. Looking forward to making and designing some awesome leather products for you guys!
Terms of Service
Payment, shipping, and returns
We offer Local Delivery and worldwide shipping. Each order is handmade, with love and care, by a single leathercrafter and packaged especially for you. The current wait time for your handcrafted piece is 1-2 weeks excluding delivery time. The exception to this is the Ready to Ship category where you can pick up pieces already crafted and ready to find a home. After the item is made it is then usually shipped within 2 days of completion. When purchasing it's advisable to take into account the maximum lead time, the 2 day preparation time and up to 3 working days for local TTPOST delivery. You can also confirm your delivery date via DM or email. All sales come with a lifetime guarantee. In the event any malfunction or failure occurs, we will offer a complete refund or exchange upon return receipt and complete product inspection. Note personalized goods cannot be returned outside of this. Quality top grain and full grain leather are natural materials, so hides may or may not have some character to them. They may contain fat lines, scars or insect bites. These are inconsistencies that can sometimes be included in the finished goods. In my opinion they are marks of quality, and only reinforces that your wallet, bag or accessory was uniquely and individually handcrafted in the best way possible.
