Crafter's Note
The Classic Wallet is our interpretation of the traditional bifold, familiar, functional and made without unnecessary details. Each wallet is cut, assembled and finished by hand in Trinidad & Tobago using full-grain vegetable-tanned leather. Over time, the leather softens, darkens and develops a patina unique to its owner.

Our pieces are made from full-grain leather chosen for how it wears, not simply how it looks on day one. Scratches, darkening and variation become part of the piece over time.

Every Tropical Leather piece is made by hand in Trinidad & Tobago in small batches, with an emphasis on good materials, careful construction and longevity.
Care
Vegetable-tanned leather requires little maintenance. Keep it dry, allow it to age naturally and condition occasionally when the leather begins to feel dry.
